Is Lemo TV down? How to tell, and what to do

Work out in two minutes whether the problem is the service or your own setup — then fix the ones that are fixable at your end.

Lemo IPTV: operationalNo known service-wide issues at the time of the last review.

Last reviewed . This is a manually maintained status, not an automated live monitor — we would rather tell you that than show a green light that is not measuring anything.

Is the service actually down?

Most of the time, no. The large majority of reported IPTV outages turn out to be a local network problem, a stale app session, an expired subscription or a connection limit already in use. The fastest way to tell the difference is to test a second device on a completely different network — if it works there, nothing is down.

The two-minute diagnostic checklist

Work through these in order. They are arranged by how likely each is to be the cause and how quickly it can be ruled out, so stopping early is normal.

  1. Check a second device on a different network

Open the service on your phone using mobile data rather than Wi-Fi. If it plays there, your home network or that one device is the problem, and nothing service-side is wrong. This single test resolves the question faster than anything else.

  2. Restart the app, then the device, then the router

In that order, because each takes longer than the last. A stale app session is the most common cause and the quickest to clear. Give the router a full sixty seconds off before powering it back on.

  3. Check whether it is every channel or just one

A single dead channel is a source feed problem, not an outage. If every channel fails to open, the fault is further up — either your connection to us, or us.

  4. Turn off any VPN and try again

An overloaded or misrouted VPN server is one of the most common causes of streams that will not load. Disconnect it entirely and retest before assuming the service is down.

  5. Confirm your subscription has not expired

An expired subscription often presents as a connection failure rather than a clear expiry message. Check your end date before concluding anything is broken.

  6. Run a speed test

If your connection has degraded, streams fail in ways that look like an outage. Test it, and compare against what you are paying for.

Symptoms

What does each symptom usually mean?

The pattern of the failure tells you more than the error message does.

Why do IPTV services go down at all?

IPTV depends on a chain: source feeds, the provider’s servers, the route across the public internet, your ISP, your router and your device. A failure anywhere in that chain looks identical from the sofa. That is why the checklist above starts by isolating which link is broken rather than reaching for a fix.

Your own connection quality is a bigger factor than most people expect. Wi-Fi in particular degrades in ways that are invisible until video exposes them — distance, interference and channel congestion all show up as stuttering rather than as a clean failure. The FCC’s guidance on improving home Wi-Fi covers the practical fixes, and a wired connection removes the variable entirely.

  • Ethernet beats Wi-Fi for any television you watch regularly.
  • Restart your router on a schedule if your ISP’s hardware is unreliable.
  • Keep your player app updated — old versions break against server changes.
  • If you use a VPN, test without it before reporting a fault.
Status FAQ

Questions about outages and downtime

Has Lemo TV shut down?

We can only speak for our own service, which is running. Other providers using the Lemo name are separate businesses and we have no visibility into their operations. IPTV services do sometimes close or go offline without notice, which is exactly why this question gets searched so often — if a provider has stopped responding entirely across every channel for several days, that is usually the answer.

How can I tell if the service is down or if it is just me?

Test a second device on a different network — a phone on mobile data rather than Wi-Fi is the fastest check. If it works there, the problem is your local network or that one device. If it fails everywhere at once, the issue is more likely service-side.

Only one channel is not working. Is that an outage?

No. Single-channel problems are usually the source feed, not the service, and they typically resolve on their own. If a channel you rely on stays down for more than a few hours, tell us which one and we will check whether it needs re-adding.

Everything buffers in the evening but works in the morning. Why?

That pattern points at network congestion rather than an outage. Evening peak hours strain both home connections and local infrastructure. A wired connection and a router restart fix most of it; if it persists across every device and every channel, tell us and we will investigate our side.

What do you do when there is a real outage?

We tell customers directly on WhatsApp and Telegram, because that reaches people faster than a status page they would have to think to visit. We do not have an automated live status dashboard, and we would rather say so than display a green light that is not actually measuring anything.

My subscription expired during an outage. Do I lose that time?

No. If a confirmed service-side outage overlapped your subscription, message us and we will credit the lost days. That applies to genuine outages on our side, not to local network problems we have diagnosed together.

Worked through the checklist and still stuck?

Message us and say what you have already tried. Knowing which of the checks above failed lets us skip straight to the cause instead of starting from the beginning.
