Lemo TV app and APK: what you actually need
Which player app to install on each device, what an APK is and when you need one, and how to avoid the downloads that are worth avoiding.
Is there a Lemo TV app?
There is no single official app, and that is the honest answer rather than a disappointing one. Lemo IPTV works through standard IPTV player apps that already exist on every platform — you install one, enter the credentials we send you, and the full channel list and programme guide load into it.
This is how most IPTV services actually work, including the ones that do ship a branded app. A provider-branded app is usually an existing open-source player with a new icon on it. Using a well-maintained player directly means faster updates, better device support and no dependency on one company keeping its app alive.
What is a Lemo TV APK?
An APK is simply the installer file format Android uses, the equivalent of a .exe on Windows. Searches for lemo apk, lemo tv apk or lemo iptv apk download are usually people looking for an Android installer for a player app, because not every IPTV player is listed in every device store.
You do not need a Lemo-branded APK. You need any capable player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U, which is what our credentials work with. Where the player is in your device’s store, install it from there and skip APKs entirely.
A word on where APKs come from
Sideloading is a normal Android feature and not inherently unsafe, but the source matters enormously. Repackaged installers from APK aggregator sites are a real and well-documented malware vector. Install from the device store when you can; if you sideload, use the developer’s own site; and never install a file sent to you by a stranger in a forum thread or a comment section.

Which app do I install on my device?
The right answer depends on your device, mostly because of what each platform permits.
Amazon Firestick & Fire TV
Firestick runs a version of Android, so it uses Android IPTV players. Some are in the Amazon Appstore; others are installed with the Downloader app after enabling installs from unknown sources in the developer settings. See Amazon’s own Fire TV help pages for the platform detail.
Android phones, tablets & TV boxes

Samsung & LG smart TVs
Both Tizen (Samsung) and webOS (LG) have IPTV players in their own app stores. You do not sideload anything on these — install from the TV’s store and enter your credentials with the remote.
Apple TV, iPhone & iPad
iOS and tvOS do not permit sideloading, so you install a player from the App Store. Several established IPTV players are listed there and support Xtream Codes login. See Apple’s Apple TV setup guide for the platform detail.
Windows & Mac
Use a desktop IPTV player, or play the M3U playlist URL directly in VLC. Desktop is often the quickest way to confirm an account works before setting up a television.

Xtream Codes or M3U: which login should I use?
Use Xtream Codes wherever the app offers it. Both methods deliver the same subscription, but they behave differently in practice.
- Xtream Codes uses a server address, a username and a password. It generally loads the programme guide and channel categories more reliably, and it is easier to retype if something goes wrong.
- M3U is a single long URL containing everything. It works everywhere, including VLC, but a single mistyped character breaks the whole thing and the guide sometimes needs a separate URL.
We send both with every account, so you can use whichever your chosen app supports. If an app asks for a “playlist URL” it wants the M3U; if it asks for a server, username and password, it wants the Xtream Codes details.
Common app problems and how to fix them
Most app-level problems fall into three groups, and they have different fixes.
The app will not accept my login
Usually a typo, the wrong login method, or a connection limit already in use. Retype the credentials rather than pasting them, since copied text often carries an invisible trailing space. The login troubleshooting page works through the rest in order.
Channels load but playback stutters
That is a network or device issue rather than an app one. Run a speed test, try a wired connection, and check whether it affects every channel or just one. The buffering checklist covers this properly.
Nothing loads at all
Check whether the problem is on our side before reinstalling anything — the service status page tells you how to work out whether it is the service or your setup, which saves a lot of wasted effort.

Is there an official Lemo TV app?
Lemo IPTV does not ship its own branded app, and we would rather say so plainly than market a rebadged player as something proprietary. The service works through standard IPTV player apps that already exist on every platform. You install one of those, enter the credentials we send you, and the channel list loads.

Is it safe to sideload an APK?

Why does the app show no channels after logging in?
If the login succeeded but the list is empty, the playlist is usually still loading — a full lineup with a programme guide can take a minute on first run. If it stays empty, force-close the app, reopen it, and let it finish. If it is still empty after that, message us and we will check the account.
